As
analog photography is all about having a special aura of photographs. So
for this project I decided to explore
this topic further. I am looking at places in Wellington and how they can
become something more meaningful then just snapshots of streets.
So
I started with looking at places and streets of Wellington where I go often and
where I love spending my time. On a sunny day I went to waterfront & Cuba
street – my two comforting spots in Wellington. Why those? Because as touristic places I associate them with my New Zealand
experience as a whole. I enjoy sitting on the bench, enjoying the sun and
watching bright blue skies and people passing by in rush of their everyday worries.
Then I thought about the way how I can keep a visual reminder of those
wonderful places and have a chance to refresh the sweet memories of calmness
and happiness anytime I want.
The
best object would be a piece of jewelry as it is something worn close to the
body and people carefully choose what it should be. So I chose 4 pictures that
attract me the most and made 4 necklaces .
